Total Episodes: 9
Year released: 2008
Hatanaka Kosaku (Kamenashi) is a talented boxer who turned pro at the age of 19, winning his debut match with a first round KO. He is talented, but he has no guts. His uncontrollable appetite is an even bigger problem. He can’t put himself in the right weight class, he runs out of energy because of hunger, and he gets knocked out while his eyes are set on food at the ringside. However, Kosaku’s life changed when he met Sister Angela (Meisa) , a novice nun in the convent near his boxing gym. She became the source of his power, and Kosaku fights only to win her heart.
I love this drama, it's very funny & entertaining, and Kamenashi Kazuya is 1 of my fav idols! =D

Gokusen 1

Casts: Nakama Yukie, Matsumoto Jun, Oguri Shun, Ishigaki Yuma, Narimiya Hiroki
Total episodes: Originally 12, and 1 special graduation ep (so a total of 13).
Year released: 2002
This series is one of my favorites, it's very different to many of the other series I've watched...it's about a young courageous college student named Yamaguchi Kumiko (also known as "Yankumi" to her students) who later on becomes a homeroom teacher to a class of very difficult delinquents. She teaches them the way of life and help them to become better people so they're more accepted in this world. She gradually forms a very strong bond with her students and protects them at all costs. However, Kumiko hides a dark secret that would risk her job as a teacher once it's out in the open...she is the 4th generation leader of a notorious yakuza (mob) gang.
This is based on a popular Japanese manga with the same title, and an anime version was also released later on.
I love this jdorama, it's my favorite of all-time! =D
You will find some images of either the manga or anime in this album also.
The drama has 2 more seasons released later on, but I didn't like them, and the casts were changed.

Total Episodes: 9 (season 1), 11 (season 2)
Year released: 2005 (season 1), 2007 (season 2)
Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.
Makino hopes to pass her days quietly without drawing any attention to herself. but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a “tough weed”. She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.
This is 1 of my all-time fav jdoramas! It's based on a popular manga with the same title created by Kamio Yoko. It has already been dramatized by the Taiwanese back in 2001 titled 'Meteor Garden'.
In this album, you'll find pics from both seasons, as well as the final movie-length special that was released in Japan in June 2008.
For images from the Taiwan live action, refer to the album titled 'Meteor Garden' in the 'Taiwan Idol series' folder.

Chousei Kantai Sazer X

Cast: Takahashi Ryosuke, Shindo Gaku & Miura Ryosuke.
Total Episodes: 38
Released: Nov 2005 - June 2006
This is a Tokusatsu superhero series similar to that of the 'Ultraman' and Sentai series (the original japanese version of the 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers' series). This series is the 3rd and last installment of the Toho company's 'Seishin' series.
In the year 2500AD, the Earth has been covered in a smog of eternal darkness, giving birth to a race of Space Pirates that have begun to conquer the galaxy, leaving each planet in ruins. With no other options, the remaining resistance devise a plan to use a wormhole to travel back in time and change history so that the Earth was never consumed by darkness and the future can be saved, this team is known as 'Sazer-X'.
Their mission is to collect the Cosmo Capsules; twelve items of great power that are scattered throughout Earth in the year 2005AD. When all twelve are gathered, they grant one wish to their owner; it was this wish that doomed the Earth to an eternity of darkness. Sazer-X must gather all of the Cosmo Capsules before history has a chance to repeat itself.
This is like watching the Power Rangers all over again! Except I think Sazer X is much better! Anyways, I have to admit that I'm already too old for Tokusatsu series like these, but I was urged to watch this because my beloved Shindo Gaku is in this! His role as the Eagle Sazer was his debut acting role back in 2005, so there was no way I was gonna pass this one up! And frankly speaking, I actually really like this show! It takes me back to my good old kiddy yrs when I used to love watching the PR! lol! =P

Jigoku Shoujo

English titles: Hell Girl, Girl from Hell
Total episodes: 12
Casts: Iwata Sayuri, Sugimoto Aya, Kato Kazuki & Ogura Hisahiro
Year Released: 2006
Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin (Hell Correspondence), rumor has it that if you post the name of your grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) will appear and give you a straw doll with a red string attached to it, if you pull off the red string, the Jigoku Shoujo will take that person straight to hell. However, it comes at a price, whenever a grudge has been dealt with, the person who posted the grudge has a contract with the Jigoku Shoujo that lasts till the day that person dies...the price of revenge is the life of that person; he/she will also go to hell once he/she dies.
Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three assistants accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.
this jdorama is actually based on a popular anime, and vol.1 of the manga version was released in february 2008.

here's an album containing images of other jdoramas.
Because I only have very little images of these jdoramas, so I've combined them all into this album...much of them are just posters of these jdoramas.
